Kokrajhar NCC Marathon 2026

The Kokrajhar NCC Marathon 2026 brings together runners, NCC cadets, NCC staff and running enthusiasts for a professionally timed road-running event in Kokrajhar, Assam.
The event will be conducted on Sunday, 22 November 2026, with four race distances designed to accommodate both competitive runners and recreational participants.
Race Date: Sunday, 22 November 2026
BIB Collection: Saturday, 21 November 2026
Location: Kokrajhar, Assam
Eligibility: Indian citizens residing in India
Timing: RFID-based electronic timing
Timing Method: Gun Time for rankings and prize determination; Net/Chip Time for individual performance
Registration Deadline: Tuesday, 17 November 2026, unless registration closes earlier due to capacity limitations

Race Categories:
- 42.195 km Full Marathon
- 21.0975 km Half Marathon
- 10 km Run
- 5 km Run
Timing System:
All four race categories will use RFID timing. Participants must cross all designated start, finish and intermediate timing points to receive an official result.
Participants must complete their registered race category within the prescribed cut-off time and cross all mandatory RFID timing points to receive an official result.
Important Event Information
- Race Day: Sunday, 22 November 2026
- BIB Collection: Saturday, 21 November 2026
- Registration closes: Tuesday, 17 November 2026, subject to availability.
- BIB collection must be completed personally unless otherwise permitted by the organisers.
- Participants must carry valid government-issued photo identification and registration confirmation for BIB collection.
- Participants must wear their assigned BIB clearly on the front of their clothing throughout the race.
- Only the race category confirmed during registration may be participated in.
- Gun Time will determine overall rankings and prize winners.
- Net/Chip Time will be displayed as the participant's individual performance time.
- Provisional results will be subject to final verification by the organisers and technical officials.

Participants must collect their BIB and race kit personally and produce:
- Registration confirmation
- Valid government-issued photo identification
- Any additional documents requested by the organisers
Participants below 18 years may be required to collect their BIB in the presence of their parent or legal guardian.
Important BIB Rules:
- Each participant will receive only one valid BIB and one RFID timing chip.
- BIBs and timing chips are strictly participant-specific.
- BIBs cannot be transferred, exchanged or used by another participant.
- The BIB must be worn clearly on the front of the participant's clothing.
- BIBs must not be altered, duplicated, covered, forcefully bent, creased or folded.
- Using another participant's BIB or allowing another person to use your BIB will result in disqualification.
- A participant knowingly using multiple event-issued BIBs or timing chips will be disqualified.

Prize Eligibility
Prize winners will be determined using Gun Time and will be subject to final verification.
Prize eligibility may require verification of:
- Participant identity and age
- Indian citizenship and residence
- Registered race category
- Age-category eligibility
- NCC Cadet/NCC Staff status, wherever applicable
- BIB and RFID timing records
- Completion of the prescribed course
- Technical-official reports
- Anti-cheating and course-monitoring footage
Participants claiming an NCC Cadet or NCC Staff prize must provide valid documentary proof in the format prescribed by the organisers.
One Prize Per Participant
A participant qualifying for more than one prize category will receive only the highest-value prize.
The other prize will be awarded to the next eligible finisher in that category.
Under no circumstances will a participant receive more than one prize at the event. Where qualifying prize amounts are equal, the organisers will determine the applicable prize category.
Disqualification
Participants may lose prize eligibility for:
- Bib swapping
- Use of another participant's BIB or timing chip
- Course cutting
- Taking shortcuts
- Use of unauthorised transportation or assistance
- Missing mandatory timing points
- Participating in a category other than the registered category
- Any other violation of race rules
A disqualified participant will not be entitled to an official result, timing certificate or prize money.
Prize Payment
Prize amounts published for the event are provisional and may be modified by the organisers before the event.
The latest prize schedule published on the official event page will prevail.
Prize money will be processed only after final verification and submission of the required:
- Identification documents
- PAN details
- Bank account details
- NCC-related documentation, where applicable
Prize money and bonuses will be subject to applicable Indian income-tax laws. Applicable tax/TDS may be deducted, and any remaining tax liability will be the responsibility of the winner.
